ELIM Serviços has been appointed by the Alliance for a Green Revolution in Africa (AGRA) to design Mozambique’s newest agribusiness flagship project on behalf of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security. The new programme will seek to promote private and public partnerships to promote agribusiness among youth and women in Central and Northern Mozambique.

The planned project will operate in the Beira and Nacala Corridors to improve access to agricultural inputs, promote access to markets, and strengthen farmers resilience to climatic and economic changes. The project will also work with MASA to strengthen institutional capacity to improve the enabling business environment and facilitate investment into the sector.

ELIM is applying the Market Systems Development (MSD) approach for the design of the new project to facilitate increased agricultural productivity and improved participation of Women and Youth in the agricultural market system.
